The Temperature Controller Soft-Device adds a user-configurable single-loop temperature controller to the Soft-I/O module in which it is installed.

A single, tiny Soft-I/O module might be task-optimized to perform networked I/O, Temperature Control (using this Soft-Device) and, for example, Light Tower control too (using that Soft-Device).

Compared to traditional system designs: much less space is required, wiring is greatly simplified, and costs reduced.

Temperature Controller Soft-Device features include: PID control, autotuning, setpoint ramping, temperature profiling, digital input events, data logging, and alarms.
